Lovely quiet location, Cute decor, Thoughtful host, Responsive host, My family and I loved our stay at peace on perkins. We arrived to thoughtful and considerate gifts from the host and was provided with everything we needed for our stay. Madelynn is a dream host who went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and safe. We will definitely be back for our future visits to San Marcos. Nothing. I truly loved our experience at this property.

Where to start...? We booked the Day Drippin' Farm-Stay for my son's wedding weekend. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for. Jennifer doesn't just put the extra effort in... she goes above and beyond. You truly feel like you are staying with old friends.
We pulled up to the house to see a witty welcome on the chalkboard. Entry to the home was super easy... and the gentle scent of lavender was immediately calming after a stressful drive from Houston. Jennifer provides all the right touches to immediately put guests at ease. Fresh-baked bread on the counter (with olive oil and herbs for dipping!) and a bowl of eggs... a basket full of treats (with healthy options!)... a dish of candy (my Ghiraldi loving daughter was delighted)... Snacks (including homemade pumpkin muffins, breakfast tacos AND gingerbread ice cream) in the fridge/freezer. There is nothing that Jennifer doesn't think of.
The bedrooms were cozy and the beds super comfortable. My brother and nephew were more than comfortable on the living room pullout (there's even an air mattress in the closet)! The bathrooms are fully outfitted with all the essentials plus beauty supplies. I am seriously not exaggerating on how well-thought-out this home is. You are lacking for nothing from kitchen gadgets (a Nespresso machine! Now, I have to buy one) to extra pillows and blankets for nest builders.
My favorite thing was the charming painting made by Pio (who is obviously a cherished lady of the farm) and a few of her chicks/peeps. We loved it so much, we brought it home as an anniversary gift and memento for my daughter and son-in-law. This wedding weekend was a bittersweet event (more happy, than sad) for me as a widow. To be showered by Jennifer with a bouquet of roses and a gift bag that included a thoughtful collection of pampering products (I used the hand cream daily) truly soothed my soul. The wedding was glorious... the stay was perfect punctuation.

Hostess went out of her way to make our stay welcoming, enjoyable and comfortable. Incredible and over the top hospitality! The house itself seems to be quite new and is beautifully done, great layout, and well appointed. The kitchen is is amazing and is well stocked with all types of appliances, pots and pans, plates, and silverware, but unlike other places we’ve stayed there are also so many thoughtful supplies like foil, Saran Wrap, freezer bags, and nice selection of coffee pods. We really could not have asked for anything more. The ONLY possible suggestion might be to have a conventional coffee maker (in addition to the pod coffeemaker that’s already there) and filters for those who like their own brew.
